My first wow

Iv started my first wow's off tonight

1L welch's white grape
1L asda smart price OJ
2lb sugar, 1tsp pectolase, 1tsp nutrient, 1tsp glycerine
1tsp yeast, quater cup black tea
SG 1.118

1L welch's white grape
2L Asda grape, apple, and raspberry
1.5lb sugar, 1tsp pectolase, 1tsp nutrient, 1tsp glycerine
1tsp yeast, quater cup black tea
SG 1.112

Left them both below the neck of the JD's I will top them up mid week :)

Well done. You have gone for high SG's. I find WOW tastes better at lower alc level of around 12-13% SG 1.090 ish, but see how it goes. You may need to mature it a while to let it mellow a bit.

Sugar levels seem fairly normal to me Bob, so if those are measured gravities when the jars aren't yet topped up, they don't really mean anything.
