I'm delighted at the turn out for a first go apart from the crazy 11% abv but have since learned / been told from the gurus on here to leave out the sugar and I will have a healthy drinkable 5-6% . so that's what's next but on a larger scale and maybe 1/2 experiments with other flavors a winter one hope fully , strawberry and lime and who know what else

Yay :) just try to leave them for a while to mellow out before you drink them if you can!

They look rather cloudy... did you rack after fermentation and leave to clear for a couple of weeks before bottling? What apple juice did you use, I must say I've never seen cider that colour before!

Yep I plan to leave them at least the four weeks 2 hot 2 cold and see how they taste then . It was Don simon pure pressed juice was on special at £1 a ltr so wasnt to bothered tbh if it was cloudy , had a sly taste the apple ome is grand but the berry one seems sharp. Am gona tryorrisons own brand apple this time and thats clear but ive ordered some new airlocks and stuff so i can start to rack it , can see this becoming a bad hobby :thumb:
