Just the one picture :D 70 litre pot on my gas burner, just need my FV's emptying now and another 40 bottles :D
Marked out up to 46litres on sighttube,is this enough? Herms has been tried and tested

Being a plasterer I'm going to build a box that'll go over it to keep the heat in,out of metal stud, duplex plasterboard with insulation in all 4 sides and top. Will post a photo when its built over the next couple of days.Might even line the inside PBoard with foil or some other reflective tape.

Well,I built one although not out of plasterboard as it was getting to heavy  . I've used 6mm plywood (greatly received off the site agent, who said I'd better repay him in beer :D ) although it looks heavy, its actually quite light, probably about 15-20kg which is not much for me as I carry 25kg bags most days at work.
here's some pics

Cut out of smallest width with metal stud attached

I am going to add a handle on the top to make it easier to position into place and stop my hand slipping off the top

Is your pot still stood on the burner?
It will be very interesting to see your temperatures on the 90 mins.

If this works I'll knock on up as well.

Yes,its stood on the burner,I've give about 50mm space all round the kettle.
I'm getting a brew on next week,so I'll let you know re temps

The temp held perfectly for about 40 min but then I took it off as I thought you had to give the brew a stir(It was my first Biab) and it lost 1/2 a degree.
Next time I'm going to leave it on for the whole 90min
