My first ever brew has been in the bottles for about two weeks now.

I know everyone says be patient and let it condition but I couldn't resist and had a bottle after about four days in the bottle and most of it went down the drain as it wasn't exactly enjoyable.
I became worried at that point and I'll be honest, despite everyone saying let it condition and it'll get better, it was bad enough that I just didn't think it could improve enough to be enjoyable - how wrong I was.

Having resisted the urge, earlier today, to repeatedly punch a pompous prat (impressed with my restraint) I decided I deserved a beer so cracked open one of my bottles. I know it's still early days but it's an entirely different beer to what it was ten days ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it - time for bottle number two I think.

we do try and help, unfortunately the advice of " give it time " is not something that a lot of new brewers want to hear.

Give time in the bucket and give time in the bottle....

best bet is to got a brew on often so you get a back stock so you can give it time in the bottle. im trying to put one on every 3-4 weeks.

This is the only answer! Brew it faster than you can drink it! :thumb:
