Has anyone used this
IMG_20210418_001344.jpg

I'm making a Northern brown ale today and I have this yeast I got a few weeks back as a just incase. Would it be any good or is it worth me going and getting a safal s04. No brew shops near by so it would have to be boyes or wilkos.
Any reviews or thoughts welcome

Have not used it but have read some good reviews. I liked the reviews enough I bought four of them. I'd just roll with it.

Seems to be pretty flocculant and leaves beer pretty clear.

Munton's Gold is probably their version of Nottingham (and so the same as Wilko's own-brand ale yeast) - so it's an "easy" yeast to brew with but won't give you much yeast character.

Seems very easy to brew with pitched on Sunday night and the gravity has dropped to 1.012 from 1.060. I can't believe how quick it has worked going to leave it a few more days and check again.
