Muntons Beer kit Enhancer - Spraymalt Sugar 1Kg

Will be starting a new larger this weekend, the coopers Mexican larger.

Shall i use the Muntons Beer kit Enhancer - Spraymalt Sugar 1Kg instead of sugar with this kit?? Or is normal brewing sugar better to use with larger kits ... Thanks

I made this kit using 1kg beer kit enhancer & 500g of light spray malt ive not tried it since I bottled but did taste it before & even at that early stage it was great I've got high hopes for it

I've got another lager fermenting I used 1kg brew enhancer 1 & 500g of light spray malt you could even use extra light spray malt its perfect for light beers the choice is yours :hmm:

Does the cerveza not need more than 1kg?

I would definitely go with the spray malt as it seriously lacks body with just cane sugar. It's a nice enough pint though.

Oh, cut it back to 20l too. It's miles to thin at 23 :)

Just says 1kg on pack? .... Started cutting back on water added now. All kits seem better with less. :)

Hi i would just use light spray malt (or extra light if you can get it ) btw enhancer is spray malt and brewing sugar mixed and approx 500g of sugar will add approx just under 10 points such as 1030 add 500g should be around 1040 maybe a little less :

if you wish yes but i would just use either 1kg or 1.5 kg of light spray malt , yours will be more like 1kg of sugar and 500g of malt IMO too much sugar

Disagree with some posts above, 50/50 light spray malt and sugar is fine for kit lagers i think. Adding more malt will give you a more 'maltier' drink, so it's up to you how you want it to taste like.

Thats the problem its just called Muntons Beer kit Enhancer - Spraymalt Sugar 1Kg, No idea if its light or not, may just use it and find out for myself one way or another lol

That'll be fine, I've used it before and it's made no odds to the colour/taste. If I hadn't went with the recommended 23L it would have had better body too

I haven't ever made the same kit twice unfortunately. The cerveza I used the kit on was let down by how thin making it up to 23L got it.

It will only do it good though :)

Cool, will cut back on the water then
