Anyone involved? We are starting up and having a little competition. The team member that raises the most gets a bottle of spirits paid for by the other team members. The person who raises the least has a rather severe forfeit we havn't decided upon yet...

Did it last year, and ended up reading my Dad's eulogy at his funeral with a full on tache...

Was quite funny actually!

Not convinced I'll be doing it this year - it's partly laziness about the extra care needed when shaving, and partly because I'm not sure I can be bothered to try and drum up donations - last year so many folk at work were doing it, it was nigh on impossible to get any sponsorship there, and the same with my friends...

As above, I know loads of people that do it and collect loads for charity. I tend to just grow a moustache, well... it isn't much of a tash but I do try my best lol, in order to promote awareness.

Remember the main thing about movember IS to create awareness. It's great that loads of money gets raised for charity but it's also just as important to be a part of drumming up the awareness :)

Unfortunately I've been quite involved in charity fundraising this year and don't think I dare push friends/family/local people any more at the moment

We've raised pots of cash for Cancer, British Heart Foundation, Help for Heros as well as our local school and village hall, people have been very generous so far so don't want to push my luck further for the time being :!:
