Been feeling crap for a while. Loads of blood / urine tests and now into the 3rd week off work, doc tells me I have hepatitis. Strictly no alcohol for a month. Great.

Sounds awful, you’ve had a rough few months. All the best for a speedy recovery.

Caused by a virus apparently, but alcohol would just add to the carnage and delay recovery. Feeling much better than last week already and full recovery expected. Best bit - gonna get a sick note for next week too... all on full pay lol. Clint, have a stout for me!

Aw get well soon pal...it seems to me no matter where you are or what you're doing there's always some one taking the piss!

All the best Gunge, hope you have a speedy and full recovery. I'm a bit surprised you got hepatitis though, what with all that liver exercise you do.

All the best, I’ve just come back to the dark side after 6 weeks without a beer because of antibiotics (1 of the 3 you can’t drink on). First beer back tasted like nothing I had ever tasted before, it was incredible. As did the rest I threw at my face that night.

It's funny that, I had a spell of abstinence a few years back due to a health scare and being put on some medication for anxiety whilst it was going on that didn't mix well with the booze. Remember drinking a single malt, Talisker I think, shortly after coming off them and really enjoying the flavour so much more than I'd ever done previously.
