Was just wondering did anyone ever make a nice mojito beer. Was thinking of trying it maybe with a Mexican cereveza kit adding mint and lime to it.anyone try anything like this and would it work

I've tried mojito beer before and are lovely.had a cactus beer aswell which tasted like a mojito beer as well.was thinking of boiling water with mint and lime and adding it to the kit that way..only new to homebrew so don't know a whole lot wanted to see what people thought and if it would work

this is what its all about, fresh ideas, bold new flavours and tweaking existing recipes to keep things fresh.

Mojito is rum though, not tequila. The lime would certainly work, juice first, then zest as a dry hop. The mint could be had from hops that have minty notes. I can't imagine actual mint, but maybe worth an experiment with it... also as a dry hop addition, I'd reckon.
