Anyone else mix their ales? , at present I've 3 pressure barrels one containing Woodfordes Nelsons Reserve , one with Irish Velvet stout and Milestone Raspberry Wheat Beer in the other.

The Black & Tan ( Nelsons topped with Irish stout is lovely ) and the Nelsons with the Raspberry WB isn't bad either ,as the WB's a bit too fruity for my liking on it's own ,but OH loves it and says I must make more!

One of my bitters was over hopped and another under hopped. I used to pour half and half. Worked a treat. Just shows you should never throw away beer unless it is really beyond saving.

Pf......is that Admiral's Reserve or Nelson's Revenge?
I had a porter that I had added spices to (for Christmas), it had turned out a little too spicy. So I mixed it with a mild I had......bloomin' marvellous!

I don't mix my ales because I only bottle, but if you get good results and the beers tastes good and gets you p!ssed then why not !!
