mixed cherry wine

I picked 8lbs of mixed cherries last night and in my excitement stuffed them in the nylon bag, added 4lbs sugar with 15 pints of boiling water. Now I'm wondering if my quantities are correct!!! There's still a chance to rescue this mess.... any tips!
