Removed the bung but it fell inside, will it affect my beer if I reuse the keg with the plastic bung inside?

It won't. I did the same once and never had an issue.

Great, it took me ages to get it loose then it fell inside, I was gutted

Got a HobGob Gold in Tesco last night. Is this one that you have to remove and replace the top bung thing?

Yes, the bung is really difficult to remove. If you find an easy way let me know
