Hi All,
Have been given a bag of Wilko Brewing Sugar, is this suitable for priming mini kegs rather than table sugar etc and at what rate would anybody advise, have seen people suggest 15g or 20g of sugar for a 5L mini keg

It is suitable for priming as per minikeg amount I do not use them bur somebody here will pipe up shortly with the general amount Ps tell them what beer it is as different styles will require different carbonation rates

What type of keg? Is it the easy kegs / mini kegs that you can often buy in shops with beer in or are you meaning a proper keg?

For the easy kegs / mini kegs, 12g table sugar is about the maximum they can take. For dextrose, up to 14g roughly.

Hi,
Thanks for the info, they are the easy/mini kegs etc, will be filling them this weekend after cold crashing fri/sat. This is my first AG brew, a session bitter and having taken hydrometer reading this afternoon will be about 3.6%. So looking forward to drinking it now, but patience is a virtue.
