At the moment I'm brewing a load of melon and its fermenting beautifully, was thinking about melon wine, is it possible to turn it into melon cider.... I'm just starting out on this brewing journey and still learning what I can and can't do.

Thanks

Possibly, depends on how long its been fermenting and batch size as you may end up with a big batch, coz it needs apple juice asdding and much lower starting SG than wine.

Do you mean you'd like to make it into a sparkling drink? So like a cider. But made from melons instead of apple?
I made some grapefruit like that. It was excellent, but the second lot got infected.

I'd imagine if you turn this into a sparkling end product it would be very nice.

Thanks guys, just getting my head round all this brewing , can I still make it sparkling wine as I just used wine yeast rather than champagne yeast

For Cider it needs apple juice adding and a starting SG of 1045 - 1060, or carbing up for sparkling wine if you want to try that.
