Just doing a bit of local research on old beer recipes from long gone breweries and came across this fabulous 'video' made about 3 years before I was born. Melbourne were merged / taken over in 1959/1960 but name still hangs around Leeds as many of the old Melbourne pubs simply changed the name over the door to say Tetley's but the fancy tile and mosaic patterns on the front door step still said Melbourne ales.

Interesting video as it may be used as brewing 101 for anyone needing the basics😁. Especially the bits about sanitisation and dry hopping.

Can't get it to play on my phone. I'll try it on a laptop later on. Certainly looks interesting, as does the idea of A Yorkshire Film Archive.

Brilliant vid thx for posting, a VPN works well o/s. Puts to bed the question “can I take the lid off my fermenter?” and a few others - Cheers.
