This is basically just yeast compound and an airlock. These items can be bought from most homebrew shops or bigger supermarkets for about 2 pounds each and with a few simple tweaks (like adding some sugar and water) can make a far nicer wine - it won't be drinkable in a week, but left for a couple of months will easily challenge shop-bought whites and roses.
Just google "Wurzels Orange Wine" for lots of how-tos...

Yep the balls are definately there

well if one less person buys that and sets themselves up with the kit that will go a lot further then its a win :thumb:
going on the comments on the firebox one, even after buying one people are not realising how easy it is and asking where they can buy "refills"

What a service to the hobby sir!!! Lets hope that someone reads that coment and ventures into the world of home brewing!

Some people out there will see it as a great gift. I just hope they have some common and do a little research that way they will find out the product is a load of crap.

Excellent - hopefully it will encourage people to try home-made wine. Even if you factor in equipment like a syphon, hydrometer etc I reckon the first batch should still come in at less than the cost of that kit, and they will be able to make 4.5 litres of far superior wine instead of 1.
