mash tun help(newby)

hi still building my ag kit!!! someone has give me a 23 ltr plastic cooler box to convert to a mash tun, it has a small crack in the inner liner that leaks slowly can i ask -
(1) is it big enougth for a mash tun ???
(2) what shall i repair the crack with??? dear Liza :rofl:

Yes, it is big enough!
No, don't use it!
Unless you can fuse the sides of the crack together with 100% certainty, it will just remain a "cool box"

You could get something like 'leak fix' from B&Q or plumbers merchant for a few quid but to be honest, I think Evan's right. They're cheap enough to warrant just buying a new one. Argos apparently are relatively cheap.
