i have just made a filter for the bottom of my mash tun out of copper pipe and elbows etc what is the best cleaning agent to use to sanitize it :wha:

Just give it a rinse before and after use, as the mash is preboil where everything is sterlised by the boil you dont need to sanitise it. You only need to sterilise everything that touches the beer after the boil.

Good innit :thumb:

A soak in a hot oxyclean solution will shift any oil and general debris . . . Then if you want to get it shiny soak it in a 50 50 vinegar water mix.
