Is your Google broke too . I can't see the bottom either.

Tbh for £99 it's a stainless fermenter bucket and MJ is generally a good brand.
Just OK imo.

But why do you want a conical bottom?

I think you could do better than the MJ
Real shame it hasn't got legs.
I personally do like to get to the outside. For cleaning and heating.

I think the science is to reduce the surface area of the trub.

In reality, if you’re not (or cannot due to no bottom valve) dumping the trub from the bottom, it’s pointless having a cone IMO.

Just use a bucket or spend the surplus on a little dumpy pressure vessel from Kegland.

I’ve also not seen the unit but 25l seems pretty small. Might suit OP’s needs today but consider it will limit upping the batch size in future though.

Well it's primarily geared to their own kits, and plenty of people brew in 5 US/Imperial gallon lengths - I generally don't even do that much.

So flat-bottomed, I guess the main angle is that it's easy to keep really clean than plastic. Looks like the same ball valve as Grainfather?

Fair enough, I guess if you’re looking to fill a corny you’re putting 21l of wort in there to account for trub loss leaving 4 litres headspace. Should be fine but I’d want a blow off rather than an airlock - which is what I do anyway.

I have a Klarstein one like this it’s quite handy for me as I just dump the boiling wort straight into the fermentor and I suppose is easier to clean but I fear my main motivation for stainless steel is my magpie like fondness for shiny things.
