So after approx. 3 years in the homebrew wilderness, I have just completed my first, of hopefully many brew days.

Calibration Pale (Challenger)

90.9% Maris Otter
9.1% Pale Crystal

Challenger at 70, 15, 5 and 0 (100g in total) - chasing 33 ibu.

Mash @ 65c - I did lose about 4c over the hour, I kept the induction hob on warm but didn't have any insulation.

Aimed for 16l @ 1.044 but got 19l @ 1.038 - I think due to a lower evaporation rate than estimated (I keep the lid half on), although my gravity into boil was also short by a few points.

But as the name suggests, this beer is for calibration purposes; it all drinks!

Next up is another Calibration Pale with First Gold hops.
