Greetings from the Columbian River Gorge in Washington State USA. I am 50 in June. Happily married. I live in the Simcoe Mountains between Yakima and the Columbian River on the east slope of the Cascade Mountains. Beautiful view of Mt Adams and Mt Hood (Wyeast). This is beer country. Our State reportedly produces 25% of the world's hops.

I'm a LEO by profession, but you will find that its just my job not my defining character. I spend most of my free time riding my Harley. But that's not too much in the winter so I had to find a hobby to cure cabin fever.

I've been brewing just since November, but I'm on my tenth five gallon batch. I run three fermentors at a time, brewing and bottling once a week. So far just partial mash and extract, but I'm about three weeks away from building a mash tun and stepping up to all grain.

Looking forward to learning and sharing.

Wow, I don't get jealous much but I just did then! What a great bike, complimented by a great shot.

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the welcome guys. The bike pic is in Grand Teiton national park in 2011. This is me at home. Mt Adams in background.
