Have the onion folk maybe just dislodged, a piece of onion ring from tea time for example, from between their teeth whilst suppin?

Just had a bottle of the Jester which is presented as a 5.2% slightly hazy golden ale. I have to say I don't really get it, by which I mean I don't get any of the published flavour descriptors of grapefruit and tropical fruits at all. Maybe I did get lychee a bit, though to be honest it just tasted a bit unusual and unfamiliar. When I see grapefruit and tropical fruits listed I think of the American 'C' hops and Jester was nothing like those for me. This one does not go on the list of hops to use.
