M&S Belgian Witbier yeast

Howdy.

Just wondering if anyone on the forum has attempted to / successfully cultured the yeast from this beer?

If so, what kind of results has it given? Would you recommend it?

Apparently the beer is brewed by Brouwerij Huyghe, the crowd behind Delirium.

I cant answer your question as it's a style I dont make but thanks for the heads up, I shall add the beer to our bottle conditioned beer list :thumb:

Cheers. The bottle doesn't confirm if it's bottle conditioned or not but there's definitely yeast in the bottle. Will report back if it's a success or failure.

For completeness, I can confirm that I was not successful in culturing the yeast on this attempt. However, this may have been down to an error in my part - I poured off all the beer and only left behind the sediment that stuck to the bottom of the bottle and attempted to culture the dregs retrospectively on a whim.
