Yes - not cheap, but in Belgium, I pay about the same for a Trappist beer in most bars, after all It's not a session beer, it's a sit down and saviour the taste beer! Price in Manchester is about £5 a bottle in the bar, in Belgium (for a similar beer) between 7 to 9 euros - I'm off to there end of September for a week by the sea - fish, moules, frits & beer! plus a walk or two.
Cheers

My local microbrewery got a few bottles in last month, and I picked one up.

I liked it a lot, but I don’t think I would call it “amazing”. Lots of raisin flavours and Belgian-style yeast flavours.

im lucky enough that my in laws live in coalville, so have they gone to the abbey several times (purely for the beer!) my father in law dropped a case off with me when me met on holiday last month. I really like it, although i do think it would benefit from being aged some more in the bottle, so i have put 2 aside to have at christmas. It does have an alcohol kick to it which i think would condition out a bit, but overall its a pretty good beer.

My sister in law is a presenter on radio Leicester and got invited to a tasting day at the abbey. unfortunately she is more of a wine drinker..... so her comments on it were 'its nice..... very beery'. apparently this made everyone else who was there (beer enthusiasts) howl with laughter.

im up in coalville next weekend, so might try and get there myself to have a snoop around

I just got 2 bottle online last week so will be trying one next week when I'm home, probably let the other age for a bit.
