Love brewing-Liverpool/Brew2bottle-Northwich/Trafford home brew-Sale.

After work tomorrow Im planning on visiting one of my 'local' Home brew stores. all three are around a half hour drive.

Does anyone have any recommendations either from the list above or from one that is under 30 mins away from Warrington.

Im ideally after a richies on the rocks cider kit so if they sell that its a bonus but ill be happy with a good 'ol mooch!

The is one in Wigan and one in St Helens, yell.com will find them. I,d phone around first to check they have what you want.

I've been to Love Brewing it a well stocked shop.

cheers, the one in st helens could be a call, Its only 20 mins away and stocks ritchies products so should have what im looking for! might just have to try a different store each month :)

http://www.thebrewshop.com/ on the A6 in stockport is one of the best stocked and probably one of the most experienced after being in the business over 30 odd years. Trafford Homebrew is very new and doesn't carry the range of stuff, that the stockport shop does, but a nice chap and a convenient shop for me. I don't know about the other two.

However for all my AG stuff I buy online using one of the forum sponsors. :thumb:

The wine loft in St Helens is my local, being from St Helens (sorry!). They are amazing, for a new brewer they have been so helpful, I cant speak highly enough. My mates dad said he went years 40 years ago so they have plenty of experience! I am not sure how well stocked they are compared to other shops because I have never needed to go to another but they have had everything I have needed and about another 90% that I wouldnt even know what its for. They even offered that if I thought I had an infection, if I took a sample into them and they would see if they could tell what it was and help me cure it!

cheers gents! looks like I will start off at st helens as it seems to be the closest and I have a good idea where it is. Ive heard a lot of good things about the stockport one however I don't fancy making the trip up on a weekday afternoon as its 40 mins away and I will hit the traffic so i will save that for when I have a clear weekend :)
