Can anyone help with this? Or have you tried/developed anything such as starting with a standard 1 can kit and adding anything (e.g. peat smoked grain extract)? Note: I don't have the equipment (or time) for AG brews.

What I'd ideally love is to get anywhere close to is the Alaskan Brewery's Smoked Porter as they, unfortunately, don't sell outside the US :-(

Thanks,
Chris

I'd suggest getting hold of some smoked malt steep it and put it in with your fav porter kit.

Edit: Hopefully clibit will chip in as he seems to have lot of experience with tweaking kits and steeping/extract brewing, so will be able to give some more specific instructions such as amounts

Thanks for the replies. The kit that ManseMasher posted a link to is pretty much what I'd suggested as the only option I'd though of at the mo, which was backed up but MyQul's.

I might ask Greg at BrewUK what he thinks, he's mentioned on his emails in the past that he's available to help if required - and I've always been impressed with their service.

Chris
