Longevity of hops

Hi all
When I opened my vacuume packed hops I used so much and stored the rest in a Kilner jar in the fridge. How long would they last in these circumstances. I think I'll probs need get some more in for my third FG brew.

Put them in a ziplock bag and store them in the freezer. Should last many months, that way.

If possible you should try and get them into a freezer.

How long have the been open for?

For years I would just keep them in there original packaging, expel air and tie. It would keep this way for weeks no problem. How long was you thinking of keeping them.

It will probs be 5 weeks when I make my next brew.

In a fridge for that amount of time can't see a problem. Not sure about the jar, better in the pack tied.

They will be fine IMHO, I would put them in a freezer bag and expel the air now then put them in the freezer :thumb:

Yes they will be fine but best kept in a bag with air squeezed out, in the freezer. :thumb:
