Liquorice suggestions???????????????

hi there u jolly brewers out there i would like to brew some stout this week first time brewing this you recommend a make please???????? been told add sum Liquorice nips too it wot think??????????????????????????????? adds too the end taste? :wha: :idea: :idea:

Hi. Havent tried liqourice yet but have done both coopers stout. Both were excellant

I got a bunch of Coopers stout kits at half price from Tesco's a while back.
I brewed some short with a bit of extra sugar and it's lovely.
I've just bottled one with added black treacle which looks promising.
Liquorice sounds like an option for the next one.
What liquorice are people using ?
