Liquorice flavour

One of my favourite commercial brews is Black pearl by wooden hand brewery, it has a very plesent liquorice taste.
How can I get this into a similar brew, is it an infusion of root or the soft black liqourice type,how much to use in a 5 Gal. extract recipe. :wha:

I'd probably go for about 2g per gallon - so 10g in your case - to start with and see if that's enough for you. You don't want to over-do it.
