thinking of adding some of this to my priming sugar for some bottles of lager, anyone any experience of how much per litre?

Not sure. You might be able to work out the sugar content by taking a hydrometer reading of the cordial and working out how much sugar you'd have to add to water to get the same reading :wha:

That would let you know how much to adjust your priming sugar. In terms of lime flavour, not sure.

Hi,

Looking at tescos lime cordial there is 0.5g of sugar per 100ml, not sure if that helps!!

Cheers Jason, i was going to use Roses lime cordial so i will check.
The amount of sugar sounds fairly negligable, i wondered if there was anything in it that would harm the lager, chemicals and preservatives and any other nasties.

The lime juice that i bought from asda had sodium metabisulfite in it (i think). I'll be boiling it up to get rid of it and then using it to make a hooch type drink.
