Well, my son was born 2 weeks ago, 3 weeks early, and I have the best reason to NOT store the beer I brewed in his honour - 20 litres all drunk! I made second batch, slightly modified with 100g less pale malt and 100g more dark malt. As a newbie to brewing from malt, it was interesting to see the different character it gave. It was also a perfect opportunity to modify my mashing process, which is now more efficient in terms of my not having to attend it quite so much. It has been well received by all who have tried it!
Time to buy some more malt and brew a bigger batch!
