Hi Chaps
Put my first AG brew on last Sunday (a GW Bass), a few cock-ups on brew day, only to be expected i suppose.
My question is, what do i do with this left over grain? I've got 500ish grams of barley and almost a full 100g of crystal malt left over. Can i freeze it, and would there be any quality issues when i came to brew with it?
It's been in airproof containers for a week but i don't suppose it'll last too long in there.
I don't expect to make more than half a dozen brews a year at max so if possible it has to last a couple of months. Just seems a damned waste to throw it away.

Keep it in airtight containers and in a cool, dark place if possible. Should last quite a while there - even if it is crushed, at least long enough for your next brew. I have friends who have kept grain for well over a year in those conditions.

Great, i'll stick it in the cupboard for next time Thanks Tony

I just keep min in bags in a box in the house, room temp, never had any problems with it it will keep for ages, if I kept it in the garage It wouldn't last anything like as long, as the garage suffers mice.
