I have had my tickets through for this years Oktoberfest in Munich. We need to get some traditional lederhosen, any ideas for a good place to look to buy. We don't want the silly fancy dress versions as they are frowned upon.

Didn't realise:

A) How cheap they were. (Presumably poor quality though?)

B) How many varieties there were.

C) How decorative they can be!

Looking at the ones on sale I hope you are both "of standard size" because leather can be unforgiving. (Years of ill-fitting motorbike leathers proved to me that "tailor made" was the only way for me to get comfy!)

Anyhow, having trawled a lot of my favourite sites I found these ...

... not cheap but they come in three colours, multiple sizes and with only a modicum of decoration.

Enjoy Oktoberfest and ignore anyone who says either "Don't drink too much!" or "They've just had a shooting incident there!" :thumb: :thumb:

Normal price for "real" Lederhosen in Bavaria about 150 Euros. But you can also pay thousands of Euros depending on the leather for a bespoke one ;)
