Latest Brew Is Annoying Me

My latest brew is annoying me. It’s been on the go now for 16 days and is still only reading about 1016. I have not had any issues with the heat under the stairs but I’m thinking this time it may be too cold and I have now moved it upstairs hoping the heat will increase a little and kick start what is not currently happening.

Considering it’s been 16 days so far will this cause me any problems between now and hopefully bottling and then drinking.

It's a Woodfordes kit that has a habit of sticking at roundabout that gravity....

What was the starting gravity ?

It was about the 1040 mark.

What yeast did you use im assuming the packet from the kit try giving it a shake or you could always pitch another yeast

As Eddie says.. you could try pitching another yeast, and stirring it up.

I've had issues with a kit as well, so you're not on your own ! :thumb:
