Missed this till now. I use ss 20lt sankey kegs and have no problem filling, cleaning or dispensing from them. have one hooked up to my handpul with minimal pressure and another force carbed on my dalex font. You can fill and clean without taking out the spear, but it is fairly easy to remove the spear if required. Once you know the knack of the safety catch they are easy. I have the safety removed but I'm not sending them out to pubs so not an issue. In your case you will need to leave them in place for health and safety reasons out of your control. I would never go back to cornies. As for the Ecofass kegs, yes you can force carb once filled. You do it the same as you would any other keg. Not sure why you think you can't.

For some reason people are wary of sankey kegs, but they are easy all round. Crusader is the place to get the SS kegs and the Ecofass thread is the place to get the link for them. Assuming you will get your kegs back I would go for SS kegs rather than Eccofass. But the good thing about Eccofass is no cleaning required. But there is a slight cost for the inner plastic bags. But if time is money then the time saved in cleaning and steralising may be worth the extra cost involved in using the disposable inner bags.
