So I decided to have another go at making lager, my first attempt was a total faliure and I had to pour 5 gallons of murkey smelly stuff down the loo. This time, I'm making this san miguel clone. It's been in the fermenter now for 5 days, going along quite happily, but what do I do next? I want to bottle it and I have lots of bottles ready, but I want a nice clear lager. Do I clear the beer and then bottle with half a teaspoon of sugar or do I bottle while still cloudy and add the sugar?
