Hi all,

Last weekend I made a Geordie bitter kit, and lager kit together with a tin of syrup and a 1kg beer enhancer

Og was 1073.and now it is at 1025.

My question is how low do you think this will get down to.

I used the 2 sachets of kit yeast from both kits and a tsp of yeast nutrient.

Also how long do you think I should keep this in the fermentrer.

Thanks

Leave it another week or even two.. It should still go down a few points but I guess it depends on the kit yeast you got and how much you get in them.. Kit yeast isn't the best..

It should go below 1020 at least to be honest 75% would be around 1018

I to made this tipple and it turned out very nice, but it took 6 months for it to turn good.

what hops are you going to use.

I put simcoe in mine. 75g dry hop 3 days before the end

It depends on the yeast. Some strains are not very alcohol tolerant and may not attenuate fully

Which type? If it's got maltodextrin it'll stay higher. You're at 65% attenuation at the moment and given the simple sugars added you'd expect it to drop a fair bit further.
