Well i work on a NHS IT project, so i can look forward to being out of a job soon with the tories. :(

Sorry to sound negative but I take it the NHS IT project you are working on is of more benefit to the Government, than making patients get better quicker etc, other wise you would not be worried about the tories stopping it.

I am all for removing waste from the NHS, and all public services, however I do not wish anyone including yourself to be out of a job, best of luck.

I also work in the public sector and am seriously worried about losing my job.

But I'd rather I lose my job and have the option of getting a new one than the whole country goes to the wall and no one can get a job.

I think we all need a dose of good luck!

I look after the image transfer servers for cat scans, x rays, etc, for the London and Southern NHS Trusts.

The IT market is picking up thankfully so if they decide to de-centralise IT support, it shouldnt be too bad.

i was a nurse under the last tory administration, it was fekkin dire! 3 time more pen pushers got taken on than nurses

lots of savage cuts in staff and equipment, the spector of privitisation looming large and fekk the poor.....

history will repeat itself very soon........... :x
