Hmm.. Felt a bit inspired and might have 'copied' a bit from Neil

I did mine in 'Word': (if it shows - I couldn't register for photobucket - so I'm trying Picassa)

Picassa

Yay - it worked after 3 or 4 edits and different HTTP addies.

Great labels all around! I can't wait to start making my own! Once engine is built and brewery done !

Cheers muddydisco - I figured it out. I had to right click on my image in Picassa, click properties, and copy the url (minus the % sign). I think it works fine now.

Nice labels guys :thumb:
My labels are masking tape and a big black marker

Hi, this is something i've been looking into too. Not done any lables myself but I've had a good look round the internet. My thoughts were to get some lowtack/removable lables for my printer. Only problem is they are not cheap, was thinking of raiding my sofa for some spare change. One site I have found for a great range of lables is http://www.labels-online.co.uk. They have low tack oval lables, to me they look perfect but they are expencive!

Another one I was looking at was http://handylabels.co.uk but I think you would have to brew a lot of beer to make it worth it.

Ace lables by the way, I need to learn how to use photoshop!

I found my little 'thumbs up' guy in Office Clip Art. I also found this one:

He'll be used on my reverse labels:

Hey BB, something of a Right wing activist eh?

Libetad! Libertad! Libertad!

Viva la Revolucion!

Nar, not me...
Just thought it was a nice picky to go with the title "Revolutionary ales". ;)

Poor Che! He's become a tool of the regime he fought so hard against, a mass marketed emblem...

Heh, thought not. Completely off topic my mate is a graphic artist and he once did a t-shirt design where he put Thatcher's face on that Che image. It didn't sell very well but it looked hilarious.

I made this for my latest beer using adobe illustrator. The label fits nicely on aalabels' greentech labels (http://www.aalabels.com). These lables even have templates made for them that you can download so everything lines up nicely (think they even do custom shapes if you ask them nicely). What I really liked is they are semi-permanent - sticks well but pull up a corner and they come of easily. Also come in gloss, semi-gloss and matt (not all work with different printers).

I started brewing this beer just after I got out of hospital with a dicky thyroid, hence the name. Thought an old style American quack doctor label would suit :D
