I use Adobe illustrator and photoshop, although i have been using them rather a long time. :hat:

This is the problem, us ordinary mortals don't stand a chance. My labels feature a lot of cut-and-pasting...
TBH anybody should be able to come up with a good label from most design software, it's just practice! :hat:

Ah I see, my wife uses adobe CS suite for her job as a DTP, not allowed to touch her Mac at home :?

If the Fragrant lady wife is running the latest Mac os software she could create you a user account so you cannot mess up hers. Then ask her nicely to install 'Pages' which is a pretty good page layout and word processor application and is quite easy to use, bit of practice - then Bob's your uncle. :thumb:

Hey dont knock it, ive done office floor plans in a rush using just microsoft paint! (I didnt put my real name on here did i eek)

I have a web application that makes nice simple text labels, 5 rows 2 cols on A4 size sheet. No graphics, just basic stats (when brewed and packaged, og and abv). Current version allows for full customization of label template with simple tools like Markdown and Jinja2 (at least for me they are simple to use ;)).

Therre must be free alternatives try googling
