please any advice greatfuly received and faithfuly applied


6.0kg pale malt
250g crystal
80g chocolate malt
goldings fuggles hops
basic 8% strength beer i hope and about 5 gallons worth
i would like to add spices like
cinnamon orange extract cloves a touch of allspice and rasins and peel
but i dont want to make it taste like mouthwash so is it best to boil the extra bits or ferment them?
my intention is 3 sticks of cinnamon orange extract 5 cloves in to boil
500g rasins and peel steeped at 70c to sfoten them then put them in the fv with a pinch of all spice
i'd err on the cautious side this time round does this sound a bit ott
