klarstein maischfest

hi guys, hope everyone is well, been a while since i posted anything but im getting back into brewing after a few years off. i used to do small batch BIAB (5 litres) and im looking at getting a klarstein maischfest. the price is great compared to other systems and i was wondering what peoples opinions are of this machine ? i realise it doesnt have a pump for re circulating, and id only be looking to do 10 litre batches at a time as i like having a few differnt beers bottled at the same time.
any advice or opnions woud be great.

I can't comment on the maischfest but I do have the klarstein fullhorn kettle 30L which is great for my use. I have been using it for around 2 years with no issues. The klarstein kit seems very good value and I would recommend it based on my experience. I know @Rodcx500z also has one of these and is very pleased with it

I've ordered a Klarstein Mundschenk which is basically same as Maishfest but with a recirculation pump.
I got a B stock ( slights marks, 1 yr warrantee) from Hi Tower their UK distributor for £ 190 which I thought was to good to pass up.
Doesn't appear to come with wort chiller though whereas the Maishfest does , I've just picked one up of gumtree.

I have a Klarstein Maishfest 35L ,and i am very happy with it.Just a heads up ,if you get one and it suddenly cuts out when doing your boil , just press the reset button which is underneath ,it just means a bit of wort has burnt on the bottom of the vessel .

Hi Starseeker, mine kept cutting out when i first got it i was using it plugged into a coiled extention, i bought a single lead from amazon, never cut out since

Thank you for that Rod ,i thought that it was very sensitive to a bit of cooked on wort .

I also found this with the 25l. It was a real faff. So I have now drilled a hole in my bench and added my own pump to the side to try and avoid this problem.

It is great value for money, the only downside is that condensation builds up on the inside of the display which is a bit annoying but doesn't seem to be any more serious than that.
