I am having a party soon :drink: and one of the guys coming only drinks Carlsberg (pi*s) I was thinking of doing a coopers european larger (just for him) )
I thought I would change the yeast and dry hop what do you think guys???any advice ;)

how often is soon as it takes 12 weeks conditioning, mine took even longer, i bottled in september and its only just losing its eggy smell! maybe i f'd up somewhere!

I did mine about 6-7 weeks ago. Had one bottle after 4-5 weeks (can't remember exactly) and it was really nice, no sulphurous smell at all. Had another bottle a week or so later and that didn't taste very good, was really dry, without much flavour. No sulphurous smell though. Going to keep them for another couple of weeks before i start getting stuck into them.

not set the date yet just going to wait for good weather  wanted a good selection of homebrew, dont want people to be drinking shop bought drink

you might get away with coopers aussie lager (taste will be not far off, but it more like Fosters with the chemically tinny watery taste removed if that makes any sense) which doesn't seem to use a lager yeast - your looking at 10 days in FV, a week in bottle and week in fridge. I would say absolute min of 3 weeks, ideally six.
