I have had some issue with pressure loss with my KK. Although I think I have now resolved the glitch I decided it would be a good idea to fit a pressure guage to the cap. So I went onto ebay and searched for " King Keg pressure guage" and a few came up. They didn't show a back nut but I assumed there would be one. There isn't. In fact the guage has a tapered thread so it was never designed to have a nut and washer to seal it. I'm not going to waste my time drilling a hole for it because I can see it wont last and ruin my top cap. So ideas please?

Is there a converter of some kind or should I just forget this one and start again? POr do you know of a 'fix' for it..

Thanks...

Thanks Kelper. I knew someone would have an option. I never even thought of a schrader valve.. ;)

There was a conversation on this on another post..

Schrader valve is useful for pressurising with air for leak testing. CO2 is a bad idea for leak testing with a barrel filled with water unless you’re using soapy water as the pressure will drop as the CO2 dissolves in the water.
