Hi guys I'm trying to find a King cobra clone recipe as love this beer! Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I've included the blurb from their website below
KING COBRA
The most luxurious of the expressions in our Master Brewerââ¬â¢s locker is a super-premium beer called King Cobra. A unique, double-fermented pilsner, brewed in Belgiumââ¬â¢s historic Rodenbach Brewery, King Cobra is a 7.5% ABV lager that is refermented in the bottle, a process normally reserved for Trappist ales. This unorthodox process gives King Cobra its warming, powerful depth of taste, a taste which Monde Selection thought worthy of a ââ¬ËGrand Goldââ¬â¢ award- the highest quality accolade the panel has to offer.
King Cobra could be called a champagne lager. Its smooth, yet frothy texture, and oversized, corked bottle is the perfect choice for a sophisticated banquet, yacht party or rap video.
The base of King Cobra is similar to our Premium Lager, but the extra touches and the extra time bring out the strength, powerful character and flavour subtleties that the beer is renowned for. The finest barley, malt, hops from Bavariaââ¬â¢s Hallatau region and crucially, rice, form the base of King Cobra. We add a handful of all natural, secret ingredients and allow the liquid to ferment for the first time. Itââ¬â¢s then allowed a little more time to develop and condition by being fermented again in 750ml bottles, where the higher strength, a distinct malty punch, and the extra-smooth mouthfeel are nurtured.
Once the bottle is uncorked and the applause dies down, youââ¬â¢ll find a golden, hazy liquid falling into your glass. It will settle with a yeasty, wheat consistency, a golden colour and smooth, velvet head. Grassy notes, an exciting inkling of sweet and sour grain, and a bold, lemony spice will carry you to a strong, lasting finish.
Best shared with friends, or people you donââ¬â¢t really care too much about but need to impress. Either way, this superbly smooth, balanced lager is unlike any Indian lager youââ¬â¢ll have sampled in your long, fruitful life.
