Kettle element question

Hello all,

I've recently built a brew kettle:

I bought two of these elements after watching a good YouTube video:

I tested last night and one of the elements runs non stop, but the other was cutting out every 30 seconds or so and not coming back on for a good minute or two.

I'm just wondering if I've possibly done something wrong, or could it be a faulty element?

Did you remove the thermostatic cut out?

I just installed both elements the same way, the one that runs non-stop is exactly the same. But worth me looking at them to see if there' a difference

Looking at the elements again, they won't have a cut out, sorry! Chances are you've got a bad connection in the element or wiring that is breaking when it gets hot, makes again when it is cooling and so on. Not repairable I think.

Ok thanks, well I can brew tomorrow anyway and I'll contact the seller for a new one. Cheers
