I've been bottling for a few batches now & it's started to drive me mad  Thing is I don't want to use Corney's as I don't want the extra hassle of trying to find something to do with the extra 4Ltr of beer when keging. I've been looking at these http://www.balliihoo.co.uk/23-litre-stainless-steel-soda-keg-cornelius-keg-compatible-p-444.html & was wondering if anyone is using them or has seen them & how they compare to Corney's quality wise? Do they use the same sealing kits & washers etc as Corney's? If they are any good why are more people not using them, apart from the price of course!

They are to my knowledge based on corny kegs so all parts should be interchangable.

If you're prepared to pay then I don't blame you

23ltr brew, 1ltr ish to wastage, 22ltr's left, 19.6ltr to corny, 2.5ltr ish to 5 bottles, job done.
It's all about the price. Personally, I sometimes bottled the overage, most of the time I'd drink it  :drink: You are also less likely to sell that corny for the same ish price as you paid for it.

Ask a local pub if they have an old keg you can have and fill that.
I have two and one is currently half full fit 11g in.
All you need is an old keg coupler and a Water pump.

That is a No No :nono: :nono: The kegs belong to the brewery and not the pub. Kegwatch monitor this forum so I would be careful, unless you have the paperwork to prove ownership.

Thanks for the advice guys, I have 2 kegs on the way from Norman. Now all I need is a C02 bottle and regulator & a fridge. Who said home brew was cheap?

Do you need a fridge to gas the kegs or will it work without & just have warm beer? :drink:
