botteling from the keg is ok to take a pint or 2 round the corner to drink there n then, for storage i think you want to bottle condition which can take a little longer than conditioning in a keg. you might get away with transfering some of your pear cider without repriming but the beer thats been in the keg for a few weeks would be an experiment..

best to stick a few pints in bottles when u keg n sit on em till the stock can take a hit or two and then u will have a veritable library of ales :) well thats the plan..

if u use corny kegs u can look at constructing a counter pressure filler which will allow u to bottle kegged beer, but be prepared to have a few beer showers while u refine the technique :)

thanks very much for your informative reply ,i think i will keep in kegs save any problems , just get another brew on and bottle it (im also guzzleing grolsch at the moment cant say im injoying it tho)but bottles are cool, just deciding what next too do ,dont mind the odd guinness so im open to suggestions :hmm: the treacle stout sounds great ,it would be nice to hear if anyone has done a kit of this thats if there is one
