Keg dregs

Finished my first keg (economy keg shipped with the Woodfordes Micro Brewery).
Ended up having to ditch about the last pint and a half.
Is this pretty normal? How do you go about squeezing the last pint out, are you getting much wastage at the end of the barrel?

Last pint would be a bit rough as it would be mostly sediment, if you emptied the entire keg into a glass, so I wouldn't worry about it.

The wastage used to upset me, but on reflection, there is always a bit of wastage in bottles, so if you added that wastage up from 40 odd bottles there would probably be a similar amount of wastage there.
