Just Unbelievable.

Me and the Mrs were in the local shop this afternoon. While waiting in the queue for the till a member of staff from one of the local hostelry's came in and joined the queue to purchase some cases of a well known continental lager. I commented on this and was rather amazed by the reply "yes we can get it cheaper in here than from the brewery"...................

My local gets most of his bottles of fizzy pi$$ from the supermarket.

Alot of bars do that here too. I was in a bar last year when the owner went to local market shop bought 2 beers for 2 TL each thern thought he was gonna flog em to me for 4TL a pop. Guess what i said as i left the dump! :grin:

thats nothing new pub and bar owners have been doing it for years

Been in a few pubs in wales that do that. Went in one recently and after being told they had no ale on tap i asked for a pint of guiness and he poured a 500ml can into a pint glass then tried to charge me for a pint, bloody cheek!
Won't be going in there again :evil:
